entering a new journey.... a new season.... will you join me?

Alright I am going to start a new season and I am really excited about it. It is going to be challenging for me because (as some of you have noticed) I do not update my blog as often as I should but hopefully this will help me!!!

I want you to know that my life has been completely transformed by the power of the Gospel. Jesus Christ is not only my Savior and my God but He is also my best friend. Someone that shares everything with me... someone I can trust... someone I look up to... someone that knows all my successes and all my failures and doesn't treat me any different regardless of them!

I want to share this experience with you. I want to share with you what has been happening in my life and all the blessings the LORD shows me on a daily basis. I am learning that if I focus on His presence and His love in everything I do... everything around me changes. As I type this I feel His presence around me and it is so wonderful!!!

So I am going to share my experiences with you as often as I can. I am reading this book right now by a man named Frank Laubach called "Practicing His Presence." I've read it many times and I love it! This is a quote from the book:

October 12, 1930
"How I wish, wish, wish that a dozen or more persons who are trying to hold God endlessly in mind would all write their experiences so that each would know what the other was finding as a result! The results, I think, would astound the world. At least the results of my own effort are astounding to me."

So this journey.... this new season begins right now I will write as much as I can and as often as I can (please have some grace). I really look forward to sharing my life with you in a personal and spiritual way in this new season...

Long time no write!! - Fun updates!

It has been such a long time since I've written a blog and that makes me so sad! There has been so many cool things happening in my life that I have been wanting to share with you all for so long but my busyness has prevented that from happening... actually you know what... there is no excuse!! I have an iphone so technically that shouldn't be a problem!!!

This year has been such an incredible one so far! January was filled with such excitment! My CD has been released for not that long and it has just been doing so well online and in stores it's been such a blessing! I got to play at the olympics for the two weeks that it was happening in Vancouver and Richmond which was an experience that will honestly never be duplicated! I got a new job leading worship at a beautiful church and God has just been opening door after door in my life it has been so amazing!

I have been doing lots of new music... working on a new EP what I am really excited about! It is a lot different than my last record but I am so looking forward to it. So far drums/bass/acoustic have been tracked and we go in on Monday morning to do a week of electric guitars it is going to be super fun!

These next few months are going to be intense, stretching and filled with God's beauty and glory. I really look forward to a new season of ministry... a new season of music... and a new journey with all you beautiful people who surround me.

I promise to make sure I blog more and I am going to totally update this page and make it prettier it is kinda plain and boring... I am working on it! the more I travel around the more I realize how beautiful British Columbia is.

Right now we are currently in Trail British Columbia just relaxing on some

extremely comfortable couches before heading back to the church to lead worship

for an evening service. God has been so good to us on this trip so far. We have

had incredible traveling mercies along the way and are all safe and healthy!

Tonight will be a fun service I am really looking forward to it and I know the band

is looking forward to it as well! I think it is time to take a nap for a little bit while

the boys watch a movie. I am so exhausted!

Getting ready for the 5 city tour!

well I am still feeling pretty sick.
I am trying to pop as many pills as possible (with moderation of course) so I can get better.
we leave first thing in the morning for our little tour and it is going to be super fun!
road conditions = not the greatest but the God I serve is above all that so we'll be fine!
our first stop is grand forks. I am looking forward to connecting with the young people there
as well as the leaders and pastors. it is going to be super fun!

I still have to pack so I shouldn't write much longer but if you are reading this please pray
for our travels and for the Lord to just do what needs to be done.

Gro Your Mo during the month of Movember!!!

Hey everyone!!

So this month has been an interesting and different month for my facial hair.
If you come to some live shows you may notice a difference... I definatly feel a difference!!
I have been growing my mustache for the month of "movember" and it has been treating me well! I haven't been just growing it for fun tho! There is more behind the mo!

So there is an organization that raises money every movember for men who are battling prostate cancer! Since I thought that is such a wonderful idea I decided to grow the mo and join in helping raise money!

long time no write

I feel like it has been awhile since I have written a blog.

Life has been crazy busy! The CD release went great! Stores have been loving it,

people have been loving it and that makes me love it!

Awesome doors have been opening that I do not even understand. Radio stations have

been contacting me asking for copies of the record which has been sooooo cool!

These next few months are going to be crazy!!

This saturday I play at a wedding and then a show in the evening at Blessings Bookstore in Langley. Then I got tons of things during the week. I leave on thursday for a tour with the Revolution Band which is exciting!! Then when I come back its more running around more gigging... till the end of December...

I cannot wait till January... my new years resolution will def be to settle down!!!

Thank You For not leading...

Over and over again I have been hearing three things in my heart.

"Andrew thank you so much for not leading worship tonight... thank you for following"
"Andrew obedience unlocks more anointing"
"Andrew righteousness has its rewards"

God has been revealing so much of His power and anointing.
The last while God has been teaching me and showing me what He is able to do
through the people who are open and willing to serve.

I am just so excited to see what happens next.
